I'M ALIVE.
But Livejournal is my baby, so it gets the attention and Xanga doesn't...
| [mood] happy... yes, I said happy [music] Beautiful - Tapping the Vein
Passed on from Cellydoodle! : 1. Total amount of music files on your computer? Currently, it's approximately 1489 and ever increasing.
2. The last CD you bought was... Razorblade Fairytales by Hate in the Box. Loooove.
3. What was the last song you listened to before reading this message? That would be Cherished Agony by Android Lust. Creepily good.
4. Write down five songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
Songs that mean a lot to me:
1] Spoke by I, Parasite. It's definitely brimming with a deep confined sadness. The song is just filled with power both vocally, lyrically, and musically that I can't help but listen to it every time I feel helpless.
2] Prayers For Rain by The Cure. I honestly cannot listen to this song without becoming overwhelmed with emotions. It's beautiful (then again, when isn't a Cure song beautiful?).
3] Drinking From the Necks of the Ones You Love by These Arms Are Snakes. No matter how many times I listen to it, I feel achingly desperate and vulnerable. It's such a heavy, yet sad song.
Songs I listen to often:
4] Apology by 51 Peg. It being my favorite 51 Peg song, how could I not list it? There's no need to explain why I like it. If you haven't heard it, you need to.
5] To Die For by, yes, The Birthday Massacre. It was the first TBM song I ever heard, which was about two years ago. It's quite possibly one of the the most brilliant, beautifully constructed songs ever.
5. What 3 people are you going to pass this baton to and why? 1- lipringinspired because Devon is hecka rad. :] 2- xxEmoTasticxx because I must! Who else would I play "goo-goo balls" with in English class? Well, other than Liz... and Brad. Haha. 3- ....I can't really think of anyone else that it hasn't already been passed to. Hah.
Well, this is an edit. I just stayed up until 6:30 in the damn morning to finish this xanga layout (version Under the Stairs by TBM). Geesh. I am insane.
| [mood] pleasant enough [music] Mercury - Ayria
Thursday at my allergist appointment, I met the most adorable little girl. Now, if you know me, you'll know that I cannot stand most kids and believe that I'll end up starving and neglecting my own future children.
Anyway. This girl walked up to us while we were in the waiting room and said, "My name's Molly. I have sniffles." She then proceeded to tell us that when she sleeps she gets dirt in her eyes. Afterwards she walked over to the child's section and straightened all the chairs after complaining how they were messed up.
Why, she reminded me of my own obsessive compulsive self. Just in a smaller, much more cuter version.
Otherwise, weekends are incredibly dull and Valentine's Day has no plans still, despite me having a boyfriend. Does that make sense? Damn.
But my Windows Media Player is abso-fucking-lutely hot. I stayed up until 6 AM working on it. Haha.
Cliiiick
TBM-themed, of course.
| [mood] erratic [music] The Shame - Blood Brothers ♥ ♥ ♥
Thank yous go out to Celeste for the hecka-lovely new layout. It makes me wish to dawn on pseudo bloody gloves and become a Chibi-esque nurse. Don't deny it, I bet you're wishing the same.
Oh dear me, I am bored as hell.
Everything is going to be just awful when we're around.
